Laugh Along - Quotables
Hi there, I'm Stephanie.
And I'm Lydia. Come along with us as we explore and learn about the world of Tolkien through deep dives on lore, characters, beat-a-lons, and laugh-a-lons. We are excited to have you as a new friend on this journey with us. Welcome to Speak Friend and Enter, a Lord of the Rings podcast. Hi guys, welcome back. Welcome, welcome. Excited to chat today. We have our laugh-along riff episode that we're really pumped about.
And it's about every day Lord of the Rings quotes that you get to love and use in your life. Well, you use them, but it's completely involuntary. In fact, you couldn't stop if you tried. They've crept in and they won't leave.
At least that's how it feels for me. Yeah, because I was making this list and I thought I use one or two. And as I was making the list, I thought, oh no, I've never said an original scene in my life.
What is happening here? And I have to say, I started my list with some things that I'm like, okay, yes, I say this pretty often. It's really enjoyable. But then as I was looking at other quotes, there's just some really good quotes that I enjoy. So maybe you should have the list of the ones you personally use and the ones that you aspire to put into your vocabulary.
Yes, exactly. The ones that I want to slowly creep into my everyday life. Very good. I also sorted mine a little bit by characters. Because I was a little bit curious, which character do I quote the most? And it's Gollum. I was going to say, I feel like it's Gollum or Gimli for me. Oh, Gimli. Interesting. I don't believe I have any Gimli quotes. Really? For me, like in order, I guess it was Gollum, Gandalf. Oh, I love Gandalf. And then everyone else was roughly a tie at like two or so.
You know who didn't have quotes really? Fade in. And I thought to myself, Fade in is my favorite. Why don't I use any quotes from him? And I decided it's because all of his scenes are filled with so much pathos and real emotion that they're less memeable. They're either really sad or really like, I have a few, but not as many as I thought I might. I have a fade in quote.
Okay, okay. We'll have to see. Do you want to go from the top? Just trade off? Yes, let's go from the top. Let's trade off.
I don't know. You might have more than me, but we'll start. We'll start. Go ahead. Oh, I go ahead.
Okay. So my first one is one that my family says all the time. And it's funny because I know that we say this, but I can't 100% pinpoint the exact scenario. It's just something that you add on to the conversation when you're naming things.
The quote is Gimli from the first movie and it's, and my. So you use it all the time? Yeah.
And so anytime, I don't know. It's like, oh, we're going to go to the grocery. I don't know what we're going to need this. We're going to do, you have, and my acts. Like for some reason you could just add it onto a list of things. And it's funny every time it's funny.
People laugh. That was one of the ones that I thought about first, but as soon as I thought about it, I thought, I never use this like ever. I know other people use it. I've heard it every time it's used.
I laugh, but I personally never use it. And it was, it kind of stood out to me. It's like, that cannot go on the list.
Yeah. And it's funny because it's hard for me to describe the perfect usage of it. But I just know it just fits in every once in a while.
You'll know the moment when it comes. Sprinkle it in. Exactly. Very good. I feel like the one that I use the most is Bilbo when he says, after all, why shouldn't I?
I love that. Because I am, I am constantly persuading myself to do fun things for myself and reward myself. Treat yourself, girl. And yeah, it's, I'm easy to persuade because as soon as the thought creeps into my mind, should I eat those crackers? Should I get that borscht cheese?
It's always cheese. Should I do X, Y, Z? And the answer is always, after all, why should I? Oh, I love that. I use it so often.
That's my new treat yourself from XRX. That's amazing. So that, that's one of my favorite ones. I love that. Okay.
Nice second. I feel like it's just very classic. Everyone will be like, yes, obviously, but it's whenever I'm making potatoes, I always say, potatoes. Boil a mashup stick in a misdove. Yes, yes.
It's so good. Again, I, it's silly thought of that one because I was thinking of quotes. I thought, wow, why am I not on the right frequency? I never use that one either. Really?
You never use potatoes. I feel like that always goes through my head. I love that scene in the movie. I think it's hilarious, but like, no, I don't use it. Maybe I'm not eating enough potatoes.
That's the real problem. I love potatoes like starchy carbs. There's another good food one here. Also Bilbo, of course.
And I feel like not only is this the perfect hobbit metaphor, because of course, any analogy or metaphor that they use would be food, but it's so descriptive. And it comes up in my life. It's, you use it when you're tired.
You're just worn down. And it's Bilbo when he says, I feel thin, like butter, scraped over too much bread. It's such a good quote. It's so amazing. It's so good. There's something so concrete about that analogy where you're like, yeah, I know exactly what butter scraped over too much bread is like. It's awful. I immediately run to the fridge and I melt some new butter so I can get more butter on my bread.
It does. I just, I don't know how to describe like the visceral reaction I get. So good. From that, you know exactly what it means. It's almost like skin and bones.
It's just too thin. Yeah. I use that one a lot. My sister uses a lot because she actually works hard. But I use that one a lot.
So I enjoy it a lot. Oh, these are excellent. Okay. My next one, I feel like other people might relate to this. This is with my partner, Brian. I'll be like, mine, my own. My precious. That's a good one.
I didn't put it on my list. I love that one. When you're trying to be somewhat creepy. I put my precious on the list, but the lead up is very good because that's what you really use. Mine, my own. Amazing.
That's really cute. These are not in any particular order, but I think these first couple ones are highest frequency because they're the ones that came to mind first. I use ledgeless. What do your elf I see all the time?
Really? Constantly. So like, especially when I'm hiking. So I'll go on these hikes with like my sisters or family or whatever on trips. And I don't know that I'm, I feel like I'm regularly bringing up the rear. Hopefully not because I'm slow, but because I'm a steady pacer or something like this.
Hopefully for good reasons. But there's often a case of somebody's out there ahead, and I have to ask them what do you see. And I have never asked it in a normal way. You always got to use this line. I love that. What do your elf I see? Perfect. Okay. The next one I had is actually when I have, now we're going into like different feelings or moments in your life when you're different emotions and whatever, not always, but when I do something that's just particularly like, oh, that was stupid stuff.
Like, why did you do that? I can always hear in the back of my head, fool of a toke. Excellent. It's the unvoiced quote. It's your brain calling you out. You're no better than a pen. You're new better than that.
Amazing. I use this one a lot from Eridhorn. And it's his line of a day may come when insert something, but it is not this day. Not this day.
Yeah. And I've never, this is probably why I don't have any faded in quotes, because all of his stuff is so, I have a few, but his stuff is so serious. And this one, it's very serious in the movie, but it can be used in so many good situations in real life.
They're always funny. Yeah. There will come a day when I do my chores, but it is not this day.
Exactly. When I'll take out the trash. It's not this day.
Exactly. I could do that responsible theme, but not today. And it didn't that feeds into my little, after all, why shouldn't I treat myself? I love the calm though. And I feel like because his quote or his speech that he gives that in is so like heroic, you almost feel like I don't have to take out the trash. This is like not this day. I know what I mean. It's extremely memeable.
Yeah, I love that one. Okay. Let me look. I think one of the other ones that I have, and I don't know if this is similar to the, and my acts, you have to find just the right moment, but it's classic. It's Gandalf.
It's you shall not pass. Oh yes. I have this one too.
And I had the same thought. I was like, when have I used this, but I know I've used it. I know it comes up. I'm trying to think like when you're hitting a barrier on the road, you know, what I, I feel like it really comes up is like when you're on the sidewalk and there's people walking past you either really quickly or there's people in front of you who are really slow and you never say it around them. But like 30 yards down the way you whisper to yourself, you shall not pass.
When a car is trying to like jet in in front of you and you're like, no, this is my spot. Oh, you know what? I have used this. This is naughty of me. So what I like to do on the freeway, when there's a cop car and they don't have their lights on, but they're just like, they're out there cruising.
I like to immediately cut back to two miles under the speed limit and sit right in front of them and terribly position myself. Oh my gosh. So yeah, I know. Dangerous. I think I'm rebellious in some sort of way, but sometimes I like to position myself because I get irritated when they like speed past you going 95 and you're like, I'm not allowed to do that. So sometimes I'll sit right in front of them going just under the speed limit in the worst possible way so that they can't pass me easily. And then I whisper to myself, you shall not pass. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh, it gets the law enforcement. Yeah, it's a bad time.
Anyways, that's that's how I do. It's a perfect line and it's so powerful in that scene. It is a powerful scene. I mean, the actor does an incredible job. Yeah. Yeah, really amazing. Oh, yeah, I've got one for you. Yes. So I feel like I use this one in the context of mostly the contents of me doing some trivial tiny task.
And it's a chance for Faramir, Captain of the Dawn Board, to show his quality. So I just had a mid-work deadline. They badly needed me to do something. And it was just like, it was this thing that they needed done.
It was going to be arduous. And in order to height myself up or no, right before I submitted it, I think I sent to myself a chance for Lydia, Captain of whatever, to show her quality and then I hit the press, then I hit the submit button and I thought, yes, this will earn me compliments. And I did get compliments and email later.
So it was, it was well deserved. But yeah, I use this line all the time. I love that. I want to start using that more. That's amazing. Oh, I love that one. Okay.
Let's see. Oh, this sometimes when you're running into a barrier in life, whether that be literally like a restaurant closed earlier than you thought it was, or something else. Exactly. Then something that always comes to my mind is the way you shut. And the dead keep it.
I know exactly. Then you could go creepy and be like, it was made by those who are dead and the dead keep it. You don't have to go that long. That's very funny. The way you shut. I should use that. I never use that one. I love that. I also love that there are so many memeable quotes that you can divert. You can go down these two paths and never shall the twain meet. We have Frodo quite a bit.
And it's a very particular scenarios. For instance, on Sunday, on fast Sunday when you haven't eaten yet, or when you're out in the boondogs in the wilds, there's that special hunger you did when you've eaten your last granola bar on a hike. And the hike is still not over. So it's when Sam and Frodo are in Mordor and Sam says, do you remember the shire? Do you remember the taste of strawberries?
And Frodo's answer is, no, Sam, I can't recall the taste of food. So I have used this. That's amazing.
I love that one. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Okay, this is also along the lines of food. And I don't use this very often, but I feel like I think about it for some reason. Like I said, certain ones, you just have to find the right moment.
But this one I think about and I think is so funny. Looks like meat is back on the menu. Yes, I use this one all the time. I have a good idea. When anything is back on the menu, when anything is back on the menu, whatever the theme. So like maybe I open the fridge and I'm blind and I say, what the heck, where's that insert ex food? It's probably something yummy mac and cheese, right? Where's the mac and cheese? And then I find it and I say to myself, meat's back on the menu boys. Yeah.
Mac and cheese is back on the menu. Exactly. Exactly. I love that one.
Yeah. This one I use anytime I'm confronted with garbage. Garbage. And it's casted into the fire. Destroy it. Yeah.
Yeah, it has to be something semi trivial so they have time to be funny and laugh. When you're confronted with something actually scary like the spider I had to till earlier today, there's no time to think about things like this. Oh no.
There's only screaming. But when it's something like, ah, yes, I have to, you know, cut up a box to put it into my recycle bin. Anytime you get to toss something into a garbage can.
Yeah. It feels amazing. I love it. I love it.
Oh, okay. So this one, I actually feel like this is more when I'm like, you know, not, not all things are levity filled in life. You know, sometimes you hit some mellow, sad moments and you're like, oh, life is hard. And whenever I feel a little bit like self-sympathetic and I'm like, oh, my life is so hard.
I wish this wasn't, you know, my options that I had to think through. I always think about like that Frodo scene where Frodo is doing the same thing and he's like, I wish the ring had never come to me. And then in his brain, he hears the voice respond, right?
And he's like, so do all who see such times. Yes. It's Gandalf. And that's what I think of whenever I'm like really sad.
I'm like, oh, why is this, you know, like, why is this my, my load? And I think so do all who see such times that that is not for them to decide. And is there a follow on to that quote? I'm not going to quote it exactly right, but it's all that men have to do is to decide what to do with the time left given to them. Exactly. So it's like, so do all who see such times that that is not for them to decide.
All we have to decide is what to do with the time set is given to us. Yeah. Yeah.
That is it. it's a really good quote. It's a really good quote. I really enjoy it. I should memorize it.
You have it down Pat. Because it is a nice thing to remember. Like, you know, this is, you don't get to pick your interesting times. You just get to deal with them. Yeah.
And I also love like he says, so do all who see such times. Right? Like you're not alone. You're not alone. You're not unique. Everyone feels this way. Everyone has faced, not everyone, but people who are put in those positions, there's more than one. You know, there are other people like you who I've dealt with and suffered those scenes. So, yeah.
So I love Gandalf coming through. Yeah, he's good. He was very quotable for me. And he's not like my, I would not, I love him, but he's not my number one character. He's my favorite character. So I was surprised by how much I had from him. So now we're onto my man Thaden.
And I've got, I have two from him. And none of them are used in their original sense at all. So every quote from Thaden is like super heavy.
Like he's dealing with the work, he's dealing with the end of his people and he's trying to save them and he's, it's just heavy. And I never use his quotes like that. So my favorite one right now is, what can men do against such reckless hate?
And I use this anytime I'm like inconvenience in a very minor way. Oh my gosh. I love that. All the time.
That's amazing. When you see like a tiny cute puppy barked at a butterfly, this is the perfect time to do this. I use it like that all the time.
I don't think I've ever used it in an actual serious way. So good. But it's one of my favorite lines and I genuinely quote all the time. Yeah, so I love that one.
That's amazing. Well, I feel like mine, I don't say it often in life, but it's one of the quotes that really stuck with me from Thaden. Cause this is kind of moving into more of like quotes that I love that I think about a lot. And that you wish you used more. Maybe I wish I used more.
This one's very specific, but I feel like you could probably find a way to move forward with it. So my favorite goose bump moment in all three movies is in Return of the King. And I think I've talked about this before, but it's when the beacons I lent, lit Aragorn burst into the hall and Etteras and comes running up and he says, you know, the beacons are lit, Gondor calls for aid. And they have that really dramatic scene where Thaden's like, oh my gosh, cause beforehand he's been a little negative.
Like where was Gondor when the West fold fell, right? Like when have they been there for us? And so you think, man, what is he gonna do? Like the fate of Voughton kinda rests on his shoulders.
And he says, and Rohan will answer. And just in those short few words, I literally like, I get emotional. I get emotional every time.
I get emotional. And I don't know, there's something about like putting aside your own, honestly, like he cares for his people, but he's saying like, I'm gonna do something hard to try to protect and try to be there for something. And he's putting aside, you know, this is what the Gondor haven't done. He's putting aside a rift. She has been wronged. I think it's maybe not intentionally, who knows how intentionally, but like there is definitely like a rift there. There are wrongs on probably both sides. And he's putting it all aside. He says, there's something more important here and we will do the right thing. So yeah, it's very powerful.
I love this moment. Yeah, so maybe you use this when people come to you and they're like, please help me, you know, with my terrible work projects. Tell me with my homework, help me with this. And you say, Rohan will answer. And Lydia will answer, right?
And Stephanie will answer. Excellent, that's fair. That's fair, I love that.
Mine is also a fade in, my next one. And it is, you use this whenever you see something that you don't recognize. And it's, what is this new devilry?
I love this line, I use it all the time. What have I last used it? Oh, so my tiny sister is like, what, 13 probably? She was telling me some of the slain her friends use. So I used it then and she was like, yep, that's the new devilry. That's amazing.
Anything new at all in your life, you can say this too. It's good. I love that.
I think, okay, the next one, so and my ax is my first Gimli quote, but there are so many good Gimli quotes. He had a lot of comedy. And so, yeah. So much comedy. And so some of these, I feel like I don't always utilize, but I think and I laugh all the time. You just wanna hear around the world laughing through yourself constantly.
Good for you. Sometimes I think about these things and it makes me giggle. But one of them I still love is him and Legolas have that competition, right? Of who can, I guess, slay the most in battle.
Sounds really intense. But Legolas does all of this with this beautiful, I don't think snowboarder-esque prowess. There's all the artistic about it. Yeah, going on a shield and doing all of this stuff. And at the end of this Gimli just watches and he says, that's still only counts as one. Yes. And so I think sometimes if you're seeing someone be a little too highfalutin with their, you know, you could say that's still only counts as one.
Yes, you could get a brain and down tears. I love that scene. Yeah, I love that. One of my next ones is Galadriel.
And as in the narrator, I guess, you wouldn't necessarily know it was Galadriel. But I use this all the time. And I'm trying to remember a context. Let me think about this.
I can't think of an example. But they were all of them deceived. Oh, and bold. I use this all the time. Like, and I think it's just in the context of like, I thought there was mac and cheese in the fridge. There was. But they were all of them deceived.
But there was no mac and cheese in the fridge. You know, just silly stuff like that. That's amazing. I love that one. But that line is so powerful. That narration in the opening scene.
Her voice. Kate Blanche. It's Kate Blanche, right?
Yeah, I think so. The acting is excellent. But the precision in the writing, because they need to convey all this context and all this like history. And they did it in like five sentences.
It was really good. I mean, maybe it's not five. I have to look. But it's very short.
It fits in like two minutes or three minutes. Love that. Yeah. OK. Like I said, now I am strong pivoting into just scenes and quotes I love. Yeah, inspirational.
Very good. But I was thinking of another one because we were talking about Theodan. We were talking about, I was thinking about Two Towers. Because I'm like, I feel like we don't always go to Two Towers, but it has good stuff. Speak for yourself.
I was, I know Lydia, her number one of the three is the Two Towers movie. So we might have an episode on that later. But anyway, so I was thinking about that.
And I was thinking about some of my favorite quotes there. And Helms Deep is happening. And Aragorn is kind of preparing for battle. And he's sitting and he's looking at the sword.
Everyone's super depressed. He sees a kid. Honestly, his kid's got to be like 11.
It's so sad, 11. And so he kind of sees him looking at him. And he says, hey, like, what's your name? He starts talking to him. The kid's like, man, the people around me are saying we're not even going to last the night. That there isn't any hope. Right.
And this is so cliche, but it strikes me so hard because it's a kid. Right. And all of this is going on. And he really sensed this depression. And he hands the sword back and he says, hey, this is a good sword.
And he's like, and there is always hope. Yeah. And you have. Oh, go ahead. Finish your thought. Yeah. And it's tough because you're like, man, really? Is there hope for them?
Like it seems rough, but you're giving them something to hold on to. Right. And I think, I don't know, for me, I feel like that's super classic, but you're like, there is always hope. Yeah.
I do life. I really like that scene. We did really good Aragorn moments. There's two things that I think are fun there where like we see him be this leader to men. We seen him be the leader to the elves and the fellowship and stuff like that. And we see it now with like this common man. And when he hands him the sword, like you looked at the sword, it is chipped and beat to heck.
And it looks rough. So half of me is like, I think he's lying. He knows this is a trash sword, but he's got to tell this kid something and he is he is doing the right theme if he is lying to tell him that.
On the other hand, the other interpretation is like the weight of the sword, the balance of it is still good. Yeah, because he swings it. He's like, yeah. So if it is still good, if that is real, the other thing that you can take from that is like, you know, he's handing the kid a weapon and saying, there's this problem, but there's always hope. And here is something you here is a tool that you're going to use.
This is part of the solution. And like it doesn't look like much. This sword is all beat up, but it is a good sword. Like it will do the job.
You will you have hope. Yeah. So yeah, I love that scene.
I think it's the scene of two or three before that. I cry every time when there's got like no, every time like baby where like fade in, I think he is saying, where is the horse and the rider? And there's a poem. A big poem. And there's the music. And then you see the arming of all the kids.
Devastating. I'm all men kissing their eyes. I'm like, not the old man. It's too much.
So anyways, two towers for the win. It's the best. Oh, yeah, not to get too sappy, but those are some good quotes. Those are great.
I love that. My next one is not at all. I don't think I use any of these seriously. So it's a gradual again. And I love this one. You use this one when you've done something that should be deserving of mild praise. And the quote is all shall love me and despair.
Which I have said. That's so good. Not as often as I should, because it's so dead. I love that one. That's amazing. Actually, as you were saying, like you never use some of these quotes seriously, I thought of another one that I think about all the time.
And it's humorous to me. It's when Gandalf here's someone outside the window and he's speaking to Frodo in the show. This is the first movie, the fellowship. And so he realizes it's Sam and he pulls it up and he's like Sam, Gamja, you know, like, what are you doing? And Sam says, I ain't dropping no eaves, sir. Honest. I love that. And I love that one. I ain't dropping no eaves, sir. I love that.
So my response, I guess, if anyone were to accuse me of eavesdropping, I ain't dropping no eaves, sir. Yeah. Yeah. Don't turn me into anything.
And natural. For Gandalf, here's one. I use this constantly. And it's just because I just have a really hard time with like geography. And I map myself everywhere. I'm not ashamed.
Anyways, it's I have no memory of this place. Use this all the time. Oh, my gosh. It's very it's it's very applicable.
Yeah. It's extremely quotable. So extremely quotable. Yeah.
I love that. OK, I feel like I'm running I'm running low. No worries. I can always do a couple more. Excellent. Excellent.
I feel like this one and this is super long. I do not quote it, but I think it's so funny. And so I wish I could have a place and witty that I could apply it.
And it's Bilbo and it's at his birthday. And I feel like I think about this all the time. I don't know half of you, half as well as I should like. And I like less than half of you, half as well. You deserve.
You got to like do like a church talk or something like that. Funny when you're leaving. So funny to me.
You don't have to face it. It's so sassy. It's so sassy.
I want to use it. You know what I mean? Like I want to use it in a scenario, but I also feel a little bit like it might be too bold for me. You know, so anyways, I love that one. I would use it, but I would mess it up. And then you know, I'd get it. All right, I'll rapid fire a couple. You stop me. Yes, let's do it.
So dandalf. And this is for whenever you give anything to anyone. Keep it safe. Keep it safe. Keep it safe. I do use that. We use that all the time.
It's so good. Constantly. And then these two interchangeable, but these would be for when you need something to happen. Like when you tell somebody to like go fetch that scene or run off and do XYZ, right? You know, there's motion. So fly you fools. Yes, fly you fools.
And show us the meaning of haste, which I use a lot with children. Shadow facts. Yeah. So good.
Like when you're yelling at the nephews and you need them to do something, I use that line. I don't think they did it. Show us the meaning of haste. They're like, hey, exactly.
They have no idea. Um, I feel like I use this one all the, this next one all the time. It's a Saruman. I'm trying to think. Usually in the face of some minor temptation that two minutes later, I'm going to give into.
So when confronted with the mac and cheese, for instance, it's you have no power here. Yes. Yes. When somebody makes a request to me, that's completely reasonable. Like, you know, put your dishes away. So yeah, I use that one a lot.
And then all right, we're now down into Dolem and I. Oh, Dala was the most quotable. So like you said, my precious use that all the time. I use it burns us a lot when I go outside and see the sun for the first time. And I mean, I stay inside a little bit too much sometimes.
So yeah, I genuinely. I use this one all the time. And it's usually any time I see stairs. Up the stairs and through the tunnel. The tunnel.
Yeah. So anytime there's a stair or tunnel, so it could happen in your daily life or like while hiking. I also use sticky little hoppices quite a bit. Probably more than I should, usually referring to children. Whenever they're being sticky. Of this one is one of my.
I hope I use this ironically. It's you don't have any friends. Nobody likes you. That's all I'm talking to. Me.
No, I know. When like that, I get to self hate, but then it turns it funny. Almost.
It's extremely funny. You don't have any friends. Nobody likes you.
Nobody likes you. I love the way he delivers online. Andy Serkis. What a genius. So genius. And I use this one a lot. And I saw it recently on a list of the themes girls say that could come from Lord of the Reans. That was like, well, I feel called out. But it's anytime I'm hungry or anytime somebody else is hungry around me.
It's she always needs to feed. So that's the last one. I mean, I was trying to rank myself in here as like, which one of these like, do I actually use these a lot? And I can genuinely say I use all of these probably to my shame, but they're so good. They're so perfectly like appropriate for any scenario.
They're like, with this list, you are now covered for all of your life situation. You will never have. You'll never need to have an original reaction to any moment. Your original idea. It's all here for you.
Your personality is bad. And if this with just three movies, you can. You're golden. Respond to everything. So yeah, I love all of these quotes.
They're awesome. There's just so much fun to be had in dropping a quote or funny reaction meme like this into your daily life. I love laughing. It makes me happy. It makes whatever scenario in scenario you're in more enjoyable.
So no shame to me in dropping these. I will say, though, this is one of like two movies, one of two movie franchises. I can quote. I know no other movie quotes because you'll get those people who are like dropping movie quotes left and right. I'm like, oh, yeah. I were not on the same page at all.
So this is the only one I can do. And I went a little deep, a little too far. I love it.
I love it. And honestly, there's some of these are I'm like, yes, I do use that. And I can't even like articulate when to do it. But you know they're there. There's those moments you need to reference. Yeah. If I knew the exact percentage of quotes versus original speech, I'd probably be embarrassed, but I won't.
We don't know those stats. And people laugh and people love it. So it's endearing. Yeah, I like to think. Later on, I guess we'll do an episode on something close to this topic. But like what if you needed to pretend to be a Lord of the Rings fan? All you need to do here is your list of quotes you you can blend in in any drop of fear, drop a couple of these. We even gave you scenarios you can use it in so that you don't use it wrong.
Because if you use it wrong, you don't blow your cover. But yeah, I think this is a strong start. I love it. I love it. They make me laugh. Some I need to like definitely revitalize in my vocabulary. And I need to think more of those inspirational quotes because there are so many good inspirational quotes where I'm actually struggling and having a real emotion. I don't like I should remember some of those lines. Honestly, that Gandalf one comes to me all the time when I'm moping and it's like, oh, this is hard.
It's like, so do all who see such times. I'm like, oh, OK. It's a good pick me up. Awesome.
All right, well, I loved it. Thanks, guys, for joining us. Have a great rest of your day. I will see you next time. Bye.
