join us, it's a lightning round quiz.

This is a lightning round quiz. We're going to find out what character I am, what character Lydia is. And if you want to join us, we are using fungamery.com, which Middle Earth character are you quiz. So feel free to take it with us. But I thought we would walk through the answers, Lydia, somewhat, somewhat quickly, but we can chat through them a little bit. And, and then we see what our end results are. Okay, so I'm on question one out of 15. Are you seeing that?

And our options are, my life already is one big adventure I would like to but I'm too busy, or oh no no uncomfortable wretched things, or yes can we be off now?

All right, options, magic, bow and arrow, cutlass, broadsword, axe, I know my answer 100% bow and arrow. And I can say this because I made many of them growing up. And because anytime I play a video game, I'm like, how far from the enemy TNID at tonight, please like five miles away.

Okay, I'm all about that. I'm gonna pick magic because I don't want to see no blood, you can just fall over. You want to be actually powerful. Yeah, you can just fall over, that's all I need to know. Okay, here we go. Question three, do you like eating green food? Yeah, sure, or yes, it's healthy.

All right, I have to go with itch no, even though I eat a salad every day, because every time I do, I think to myself, why am I not eating mac and cheese? Oh my gosh, I like yellow food.

I agree, but I want to say yes, it's healthy.

Okay, all right, number four, if you had possession of the one ring and did not know what it needs and did not know that it needs to be destroyed, what would you use it for? Okay, our options are spying, playing spooky tricks, stealing, terrorizing my enemies, attending events that cost money, but I'm invisible, and then I don't know, I just need to think about it.

Oh man, I think attend events that cost money, that would be amazing.

Yes, I agree. I think I would also do a lot of like burglary.

Oh, the stealing actually.

Yeah, you could like get into like a Bayne-Kai Steen and be extremely professional about it. Yeah, 100% stealing.

Also spying, because I feel like terrorizing my enemies, maybe a step too far, but spying and gathering intel could be very intriguing.

I don't have enough enemies to terrorize yet.

Okay, I think I'm going to go for attend events, but I love all these other options. Okay, question five. Question five. Okay, what's your idea of merry making? We have dancing, feasting and toasting, singing, clapping and playing instruments, or sitting off in the corner smoking some pipe weed. Oh, this is a good one.

For me, it's dancing. Every once in a while, I did like this urge, just like, I need to go dancing right now.

I love that. I feel like dancing and eating are the two main things that appeal to me right now.

The fact that they did not put dancing and feasting is a shame.

Yes, I want both of those. I love to dance, you know I do, but right I'm just like feasting. Yeah, that sounds delicious. So I'm going to go with the food. Okay, question six.

Oh, on which side of the Misty Mountains do you reside? East, West or, well, I don't really live anywhere. I'm always traveling back and forth across the Misty Mountains.

Oh, Misty Mountains. Okay, so East of the Misty Mountains, I think is where it's like. Gondor, Mordor. Gondor, Rohan, like all of the epic stuff. Yes. West of the Misty Mountains, I think is like Rivendale, Shire.

Oh, these are hard. You know what I mean? All right, I'm going to say East just because last time we talked about like, who would you marry? Yeah. I said somebody in Gondor so I can live there. Oh, I love that. So I'm going to say East. I'm going to say West.

Let's do it. Okay. You're like, I got to be, we got to have as far of a distance between us as possible. We will communicate only by Palatine. Oh my God. By Palatine, I'll send you a beacon.

There we go. You're like, oh, Lydia's lived in the East. Yeah, I was totally going to live there, but then suddenly. So I was just thinking Shire and Rivendale. Those are like my two favorite places.

They're gorgeous. Okay, question seven. Do you seat honor? That's a tough one. All right, options. Yeah. Well, yes, I deserve it, don't I? I would kill or be killed for honor. No, I'm just interested in doing what's right and not me. I shy away from it. Okay, I don't know how to, I don't know how to answer this one because I don't know if honor here is being conflated with glory.

Glory glory. But I have made fun of like Baron and a couple other people for being too filled with honor. And I'm not particularly interested in doing what's right. So I'm going to say not me. I shy from it.

I love that. Okay, for me, it's like, yeah, I'd like some honor, but I don't want to not do the right, you know what I mean?

Like I want to do the right thing. You're more interested in the right thing? Or I think so. I think so. But I would also like some honor. So it's hard. I don't know if I want to be killed for it. That sounds extreme. Okay, I'm just interested in doing what's right. We'll go with that. Okay. Okay. Number eight.

Do we have a choice? Or are we talking about or yeah, that's me always living on the edge? Or do I have a choice? Or no, I don't like taking risks too risky. Yeah.

All right. I have to say for this one, I have to do always living life on the edge. I love that. But I have to say that because I was telling Caitlin actually the other day, I was saying something to her like, yeah, I just, I consider myself like pretty like safe. I play it safe. I'm very risk diverse. She laughed out loud at me like actual stopping. And so yeah, I'm gonna say I live my life on the edge.

I love that. I'm gonna say just how risky are we talking about because this kind of goes with the adventure thing. I'd love a good adventure, but how risky are we talking about?

Yeah. I want type one fun, not type two fun. Do you know about this? Type one is you're having fun while you're doing it. The activity is actually fun. Type two is I'm only having fun because I survived it. It's post fun.

I'm like laughing at it in hindsight. Yeah. Amazing.

All right. Number nine, which are the following adjectives best describes you?

We have jolly, paranoid, rebellious, easygoing, determined or stubborn. Oh, they have determined and stubborn, which is like, um, I think I would say easygoing. I don't know. Maybe not. Maybe I don't know if I'm rebellious. I don't know if I'm there. Well, it depends on the day. I don't know.

I think we might actually have the same one here.

Oh, I don't know. You're very, very friendly, Stephanie. We might have to pitch the same one here and be

Yeah. I think for me, I had to do easy drawing because I think that is probably how people would describe me. Yeah. Yeah. I can see that. Okay. All right. Number 10, which philosophy do you believe in? Oh, I like this.

This is fun. Sometimes you need to do something wrong for the right reason. It's always best to join the winning side of the war. Why would I share my wealth with you if I don't think you deserve it?

No one wants to be alone. Okay. I feel like that doesn't really qualify as a philosophy. Put up a strong defense, but don't initiate an unprovoked attack. And their love is most important of all, even more so than eternal life.

I think we know who that's calling to. Yeah, we know who that's calling. All right. What's your pick? I think, oh man, I don't know. I think I would, initially I would say put up a strong defense, but don't initiate an unprovoked attack. But in the Lord of the Rings, it's like I would do an unprovoked attack on Soran because he's been so many times provoking others.

So is it really unprovoked? You picked first because I think we're going to fight for similar ones. Really? Possibly. We'll see. I'm very curious which one. when you pick.

Oh, this is hard. I've actually been in a fight. I have not either. I would be very hesitant to join that fight. I think I might try climbing a tree or running away.

I don't know. Like if I was outnumbered, it's like I wouldn't want to surrender. Like I feel like my pride would be too high, but then I guess I'm fine running away. I don't know.

I think I'd be a fight anyway, but only because I'd be so angry at that point.

Well, if you were in a band of adventures on a quest, which archetype would you be? Where is the archer that shoots from far away?

I don't see that in the list of options. I know. OK. Well, the bold leader, the comic relief, the wise scholar, the uneasy fuss pot. I don't know why they call it a fuss pot. The fearless daredevil or the scheming rogue.

Ah, all right. I called dibs. I called dibs on Steaming Road. That's where I want to see myself cast. Yes, I love I feel like the steaming road is going to survive in the end.

Oh, I love that. I feel like I was singing the comic relief, but those always get killed. And they're always like, no.

I'm embarrassed by how accurate this is, because what I think about things. Yeah, like if I had a pick to be somebody, smog is not not on my list. Oh, my gosh. I mean, he's cool. He's a dragon. He gets to fly.

He did have untold amounts of doled. If I wanted anything at all, I'd do like buy it. Like, yeah, he's appealing. He appeals to me. Also, his voice is really good in the movie.

Honestly, I think if I had to pick my personality, it would probably be a hobbit where it's like I genuinely prefer comfort and coziness, but an adventure is intriguing. And then I would get in and realize I've gone in over my head.

I've gone in over my head and I'd be like hoping and praying that it would turn out OK. But yeah, so I think I would select a hobbit. Maybe maybe a Bilbo would be my.

Yeah, actually, now that I think about it, it's more of like a dragon is 100 percent awesome. I would. I love that.
